Our 2023 in review

Our '2023 Wrapped' is a fun celebration of some highlights that defined our year at the NZ Disability Employers' Network.

Growth

  • This year we have welcomed 7 new members into the NZ Disability Employers' Network whānau
  • 20 member organisations hold the Accessibility Tick this year!
  • NZDEN staff head count has increased by 100%
  • In 2023 we reached 16,181 people on Faceboook (a 190% increase from 2022), and grew our LinkedIn followers by 46%.
  • We connected with 266 people on Disability Inclusion and Accessibility via email.

Achievements

  • We rebranded and launched our new New Zealand Disability Employers’ Network website
  • Our biggest number of attendees yet - 146 - at the Disability Inclusive Pathways Conference in Auckland, earlier this year. 74% of speakers had a known disability.
  • We launched several new services – the Communities of Practice for Accessible Recruitment and Neurodiversity@Work and our new public training series, and hosted a total of 24 training sessions throughout the year.
