Membership Tiers

We have 3 membership tiers.

  • Tier 1: Access

    For organisations wanting to join the network, access resources, and attend events.  Training and consulting services can be added as required.

  • Tier 2: Inclusion

    For organisations seeking expert advice and ongoing support from the NZDEN. Includes training and consulting allowances, plus discounts on additional services.

  • Tier 3: Empowered

    For organisations committed to continuous improvement. Includes all advanced benefits: annual gap analysis, support in creating your annual action plan, and quarterly progress meetings.

Legacy: We also have a legacy membership for organisations who joined the Accessibility Tick/NZDEN prior to April 2023.

The consulting hours included in our Inclusion, Empowered and Legacy tiers mean that you can get instant support with your work, without needing further pre-approvals.

All membership tiers include:

  • Access to quarterly NZDEN Hui
  • Participation in our Communities of Practice
  • Member rates for the Disability Inclusive Pathways Conference and other events
  • A minimum 10% discount on NZDEN training programmes
  • Negotiated discount rates with selected NZDEN partners
  • Access to member-only online resources, including eLearning modules, pre-recorded webinars and event recordings, downloadable resources, tools and templates and curated weblinks
  • Executive briefing session for leaders at your organisation
  • Use of NZDEN Member logos
  • Support connecting with subject-matter experts, partners and other members
  • Exclusive member communications including bulletins, newsletters, and updates.

Inclusion (tier 2) members may use their included consulting hours flexibly for these services (e.g. elements of the Accessibility Tick annual assessment, or action plan support). A full Accessibility Tick assessment will require additional fees at these tiers.

Some Inclusion (tier 2) members may be eligible to hold the Accessibility Tick through the use of their consulting hours, subject to meeting requirements and their organisation’s maturity level. Additional fees may apply. Awarding of the Accessibility Tick is at the sole discretion of the NZDEN, and only where minimum requirements are met.

Additional fee: Access (tier 1) members do not have consulting hours included. These services are available but will incur additional fees if requested.

  3. Empowered - for organisations committed to continuous improvement. You will access all of the Pro features, and partake in an annual assessment, be supported with an annual action plan and have regular quarterly meetings.
