How membership works

When you join the NZ Disability Employers' Network, you gain access to a broad range of benefits and services, including a number of consulting hours. It is your choice how to use these to the best benefit of your organisation.

We work in a bespoke way reflecting that each organisation is unique and has different needs on their disability and neurodiversity inclusion journey. We will work with you to maximise your membership to match your individual organisation's needs.

Our Shared Commitment outlines our shared vision, and overarching commitment and agreements between our Members and the NZDEN.

Membership in action

We have 3 member tiers.

  1. Access - for organisations wanting to be a part of the network, access resources and attend events. Training and consulting attracts additional fees.
  2. Inclusion - for organisations who want to access the advice and support of the NZDEN. This includes allowances for training and consulting, with discounts on additional services.
  3. Empowered - for organisations committed to continuous improvement. You will have access to all advanced benefits and participate in an annual assessment. Additionally, you will be supported with an annual action plan and have regular quarterly meetings to track progress.

Legacy: We also have a legacy membership which is for organisations who joined the Accessibility Tick / NZDEN prior to April 2023.

The consulting hours included in our Inclusion, Empowered and Legacy tiers mean that you can get instant support with your work, without needing further pre-approvals.
