Our CoPs focus on advancing particular areas of disability and neurodiversity inclusion that drive meaningful long-term outcomes.

Each group partners with disabled people, experts, and other stakeholders to shape effective practices and contribute to defining what best practice looks like in an Aotearoa context.

Whether you're just starting to explore these topics or have significant experience to share, your participation advances disability inclusion in Aotearoa.

Accessible Recruitment

The NZDEN Accessible Recruitment Community of Practice is a collaborative space to explore ideas and strategies for making recruitment inclusive for disabled and neurodivergent people, with guidance and facilitation from NZDEN.

Focused on sharing experiences, learning from all stakeholders, the NZDEN Accessible Recruitment CoP is growing the understanding of what truly disability and neurodiversity inclusive recruitment practices should be in Aotearoa.

The NZDEN Neurodiversity@Work Community of Practice provides a space for members to connect, share insights and explore the impact of neurodiversity, on individuals, teams and organisations.

Join us to deepen your understanding and discover practical ways to create a more neurodiversity inclusive workplace.

Public Service CoP

The Disability in the Public Service Community of Practice is a dedicated space for public sector NZDEN members to connect, share practice, and strengthen disability-inclusive employment across the government sector.

Future Communities of Practice

We won't be stopping with our current COPs. We have plans for more, such as -

  • Customer and Service Users
  • Disability Inclusive Procurement
  • Physical Environments

Register your interest in any of these, or all of them. When the minimum limit is reached, we will get it underway.
